Palm Springs Regional Association of Realtors

(PSRAR)

86 YEARS IN THE DESERT

The Palm Springs Regional Association of REALTORS® was created in 1929 to assist real estate professionals and their affiliates in our desert communities. We are celebrating 86 years of service to the cities of Palm Springs, La Quinta, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Desert Hot Springs, Thousand Palms, Indio, and the entire Coachella Valley.

We provide resources to educate, improve, and provide our members with the latest tools and technologies to serve buyers and sellers.  In this time of unprecedented changes, we are here with opportunities to navigate the challenging and demanding world of buying and selling homes, income properties, and land.

The Palm Springs Regional Association of REALTORS® (PSRAR) takes an active role in supporting the local desert communities we serve. Our members and affiliate business members, approximately 1100, participate actively in our own volunteer programs and charity fundraising events throughout the communities where we live and work.

We have a variety of committees headed by REALTORS® and Affiliates, dedicated volunteers; Affiliate, Budget and Finance, Communications and Public Relations, Condo, Education, Green Sustainability, Grievance, MLS, Local Government Relations, Membership, Professional Standards, Special Events and the Young Professional Network (YPN).

One example of how we serve the community is our “Close to Home” charitable giving program. Each year local non-profit organizations are selected as recipients, currently, Desert Escrow Scholarship Fund, Well in the Desert and the Coachella Valley Housing Authority. Another example is our annual Food Drive, which will raise money and food items for the Well in the Desert. Beginning June 15th through July 15th, the local offices will each have a box for the agents to drop money or food items. Over the past 7 years, PSRAR has raised over $100,000 for our chosen charities.

Every year the members of the Association attend the Power Baseball games and on Wednesday, June 3rd there will be a barbecue at the stadium in Palm Springs. This is another example of supporting our local community and giving back.

PSRAR serves the membership from two locations one at 4045 E Ramon Road, Palm Springs and our new office at the Plaza at Point Happy, 78-370 Highway 111 Suite 265 in La Quinta. President, Becky Bowles said, ” this new office will help us to better serve our east valley members. Visit our website at PSRAR.org or call 760-320-6885.
